I saw this exact pair at a local running store, and although I believe in shopping local, Amazon was $30.00 less than the local store.I felt bad asking to try them on, so I took. chance and ordered a half size up, which as a runner I know to do. I was apprehensive but hopeful they would be a even better replacement for my old pair of Mizuno Wave's, and they were!In truth I purchased the Mizuno's with a $60.00 insert at the suggestion of the running tech at the local store. They never really fit well, and the insert hurt, but I kept them anyway. I even ran a few (painful) races in them, but I have a few 10K races and a half marathon in the fall, so I knew it was time to be rid of them.The Vazee are amazingly cushiony, have enough for the normal amount of foot swelling that occurs when running, and are light as a feather. No insert needed!I plan to get another pair as I've mucked them up in a trail run.Highly recommended!!!The fit guide was a great tool - recommended a half size up from my "normal" shoe size, which I ordered. I don't think I have wide feet, but these shoes are so much more comfortable in the toes and ball of foot than any of my Nikes, etc. My feet feel like they can breathe.I tried these out running on the second day of wear and I don't think they make as much of a running shoe as other brands. I find them excellent for walking to class, which is something to be admired still as a regular day means a few miles back and forth from buildings on campus.The color is bright without being overwhelming, and the fit allows for wiggle room without being bulky. I took the time to fight this review because I am genuinely happy with this purchase ( and my first pair of NB) and would recommend to others.I had bought a pair of Asics for my daily walks (I don't run), which I had tried on. After walking a couple of times, I had foot pain, presumably from my high instep, since the shoe was too tight through the ball of my foot. I gave them away after a couple of uses. I typically wear New Balance, so I knew the shoe would have enough room for my foot. When I was younger, my feet were quite narrow (A's), but they have since widened and lengthened. This shoe is perfect: just the right amount of support and room for me. I especially like the toe bumper, which comes in handy here in Arizona. I usually wear Keen's when I hike, because they are rugged and sticky. Arizona trails are notoriously tough on shoes, so the more rocks I can kick and not feel it, the happier I am. These shoes are great for everyday activities, and I am sure I could hike in them if need be.This is another one of those styles athletic shoe manufactures discontinue and don't replace with something else. So I got them while I could. There is a slight drop in the heel so they may feel funny to some people. I like that feature because it helps stretch the back of my lower leg. It's similar to a Birkenstock feel but nicely padded. Comfortable for all day wear which means my legs and feet do not hurt at the end of the day. I wear them for exercise class and walking. They are very flexible, light weight and supportive. Good arch. I always go up one half size with New Balance. Toe box is roomy. This color is neon pink and very bright.I've purchased two pairs of these sneakers so far. They are lightweight and comfortable. I purchased the second pair before the first ran out for two reasons - first, manufacturers often retire models after a short time and I really like these, and the second reason is that the right shoe on my first pair started to squeak. That seemed to bother my dog a bit, so I bought the new pair for walking him. They glow nice and bright at night, although it'd be great if the glow lasted longer. That's obviously not a deal-breaker for me since I'm on my second pair, especially since I wear other reflective garments when walking or running at night.My friends all love New Balance so I figured I would give these a try (the price is great too). I LOVE THESE SHOES. I almost want to order another pair in case they are not available in the future. I wear a 7.5 in Nike so that's the size I went with. These NB have more room but still fit great. You can't tell in the picture but the bottom of the shoe glows! I was so excited to find this out as I sometimes run in the dark. I highly recommend these shoes. I use them for cross training and running and they provide great support and cushioning. I was missing out this whole time!!I purchased the mint/grey and they are super cute in person! They only down side is that I wear a 7W, I read the reviews and did size up to a 7.5w. The fit is a bit snug and wish I ordered a 8w, in general I think these run a bit tighter and shorter than most of my other New Balance shoes. That said I'm gonna keep this pair and if the hold up well when I reorder ill just get the 8w next time.This is my first pair of New Balance running shoes and I wasn't sure if these would work out after running in Altras and Skoras for so long. I did order a wide to give my toes more room. I think they would be too narrow in a regular medium width but the wides were perfect. They felt great out of the box, certainly stiffer than my more minimal shoes but definitely comfortable and good for my training runs. I would definitely recommend them.Good trainers. I’m a 6.5 so bought a 7 but they do feel a bit small, I was using them to run and developed a food injury that may be related to the small size. I wish I’d bought a bigger size as they look nice and are comfortable but am reluctant to wear them now.Ordered these in a size 6.5 but to small so went half a size up which now is slighlty to big but OK with thick socks. They look really nice and are very light so keeping them. Overall nice trainers.I absolutely love these trainers but didn't realise you needed to buy a size bigger than you actually are. Should've read reviews beforehand, but will definitely be buying another pair in the right sizeFit perfectly and great for5-10km running.Excellent fit and Nice and comfy.
